To be exact:

Be-700 -- five seat light transport, four Walter Mikron engines

Be-590 -- the same airframe, two Walter Minor engines

"Pavel Beneš made around 1914 more than ten different studies of various sporting and passenger airplanes with one to four seats, most of them as tailless arrow-shaped monoplanes. One of those studies was the Type A from 1914 with the span of 7 m / 23 ft, lenght 3,5 m / 11 ft 6 in and take-off weight of 175 kg / 386 lb. Projected engine was a motorcycle V2 with 7,3 kW / 9.9 hp take-off power, cruising powere would be half of that. "

Hi,
at the beginning of 1935 ing. Benes (after previous work in Avia and CKD-Praga) founded the aviation department in the company of ing. Mraz. Ing. Mraz owned a company where he manufactured refrigeration equipment and decided to expand his business portfolio. Their joint venture was successful and within four years (until March 1939, when the occupation of Czechoslovakia by Nazi Germany began) the company built a total of thirteen prototype aircraft and delivered nearly one hundred aircraft to customers. In addition to serial aircraft, many projects were created by this company, let's imagine those that have been preserved in the NTM aviation archive...
The study of the all-wood four-seater Be-54 "Super-Beta" dates from April 1936. Apart from the drawing, the NTM archive does not preserve even the basic dimensions of this aircraft. It was to be powered by a 190 hp Walter Major 6 engine.

Hi,
project of the Benes-Mraz Be-55 „Beta-Minor" trainer aircraft. Even for this project the dimensions are not shown on the original drawing. The scale of the drawing is also missing... Engine: Walter Minor 85 hp.
