Please note that,may be D228 means Bell D-228,also the reference 299
may be means the Model-299 as in my dear Orionblamblam documents.

NO.

• "D228" was used for various studies on Instrumentation, Simulations and Display.
• "200-299" was a set of numbers reserved for helicopters. It doesn't mean that they were all used!

I think the first photo is a standard Augusta built Bell 212 with a surface search radar, not related to the RH-2 program.
