The BBC Sound Effects library has lots of recordings which includes a wide range from Great War types (repros I'm gussing), Barracudas, Beaufighters, Junkers 88s, Fw190s to Starfighters, VC-10s, Britannias and 747s.

Not all of them!

No wonder no-one wanted these things near them, imagine a twin-prop drone plus what sounds like a runaway steam loco and you're 99% there!

I wonder where all these aircraft recordings came from, I can't imagine the Beeb recording Heinkel He 115s and Ultralights, some of these must have been RAE sound recordings I would imagine.
