I recently came a cross this gun in a local museum. It's the one furthest away, behind the belt-fed Madsen with a pistol grip.
It's called the Bang-Madsen GV/MG and was manufactured by Dansk Riffel Syndikat.
Assuming they used standard Danish army nomenclature then GV/MG would mean Rifle/Machine Gun so I guess it's some sort of automatic rifle ala the original BAR, but it could just as well be an LMG.
I don't know when it was manufactured.
Anyone have any clues?
