While I was at the National Archives I stumbled across a 1986 presentation setting out BAe's proposal for their CABER air-launched anti-armour weapon. It seems to have been proposed by BAe as a cheaper alternative to an SR(A) 1238 compliant weapon.

I've never heard of this weapon before, and can't find any mention of it online (including this forum) so though some of you might find it interesting. Does anyone have any other information about this weapon?

I've attached the relevant pages from AIR 8/3930 which talk about CABER as a PDF. I've also attached couple of the more interesting diagrams as images. The weapon is essentially a terminally guided submunition, with a 120 mm tandem shaped charge warhead, which can be dropped either directly from a pod on the aircraft or from a bus type dispenser.
