Here's a link to the page where you can download the both parts (more than 1,000 pages) of the source document if it helps.

My guess: since BAC had taken over many previous aviation companies, and the BAC 223 was the former Bristol 223, what about this BAC type being the Bristol 224?

Thank you my dear Cluttonfred,

and for my dear Skyblazer, the Bristol type-221 was the last project by Bristol, the other
types,222,223,224 & maybe called 225 were developed by Bristol subsidiary under the
BAC organization.

hesham, the question was not this! You asked for something, I made a suggestion... So do you think this could be the aircraft you're looking for or not?

But as for your explanation, I beg to differ. The attached document clearly mentions the 224 as a Bristol project.

Wasn't Hesham's first post about a VTO fighter? I don't think transports fit the bill.

Whooooops!!! That bit escaped me completely... I was focusing so much on the 8 engines that I missed out the most important element! :-[ :-[ :-[

It happens to us all. :D

A basic plan view of the fighter appears on page 120 of cluttonfred's first link.
