Hello, friends!

Does anybody know this project? It seems to be a variant o Avro 730. I would like to see more images and info. Thanks every body!

Well, there ya go.

One of the little hints: the model is actually kinda Too Good. There's a lot of detail to the landing gear... and the doors are *too* *thin.* Back in the day, most models like this cranked out by corporate model shops would be lucky to even have open doors and landing gear; if they did, the gear is usually really simple (in order to stand a chance of not snapping off the first time someone handles it) and open doors would be noticeably thicker.

Yup, Avro 727 (later renamed as part of a Avro 730 study). Adrian's stuff was getting too good: cup rings, tears (as in rips, not the saline excretions from the designer of a cancelled project), sepia casts, scribbles and general dog-earedness. Things I hate to see on photos in books. He does do a very good landscape with the Slartibartfast app.

I think it's in The Avro Type 698 Vulcan: The Secrets Behind Its Design and Development by David Fildes. It was David who showed me it.
