Attack variant of OV-1 Mohawk

Hi folks,

Wonder if anyone can expand some knowledge on a proposed two seat attack variant of the OV-1 Mohawk.

IIRC, the original side-by-side two-seat Mohawk was already a very capable attack aircraft and used as such by the U.S. Army but only briefly because the U.S. Air Force made a stink. I believe that this Planes of Fame collection OV-1A is a former JOV-1A modified for ground attack with a strengthened wing with additional pylons for bombs and rockets and then returned to reconnaissance duties, but you can still see the extra pylons.

On a tangent:

Not sure it's the only kill (I think there was at least one during the Korean War) but interesting none the less.
