Hi everybody, this is a protectiv shield for the 88 mm gun Flak. A few of them were tested at the air defense school I (FAS I) in Rerik/Wustrow pre WW II.

It is my understanding that the nomenclature for this equipment was"88 MM IN PANZERTRUM 519 720P03 Panzerdrehturm für 8,8cm Flak Bettung

Great information. Do you have further information about this device? Is it mentioned in a book? As this Panzerturm was constructed to protect the gun there has to be a similar thing to protect the range finder that was part of a heavy flak batterie. Do you also know something about this?
