Actual nuclear bomb. Probably wouldn't actually happen, since it sounds more like a big bargaining chip, but potentially a huge turning point for the chip industry, and especially for RISC-V.

Traditionally, a lot of military electronics were x86 and RISC, especially the latter for a lot of high-profile systems, re:avionics, though in the last 10 years, ARM was slowly setting its foot.

On the other hand, RISC-V was alreadt gaining a lot of steam on its own, and was especially popular in China and Russia for obvious reason, and noe this news drops. If mobile industry takes a turn to RISC-V, and if it takes, say, half of the market, I think it's going to have a big ripple effect on military electronics as well.
