Russian aviation expert is latest official to die in mysterious circumstances
The former rector to the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) has died in an accident, according to a statement from the institute on its website, amid a recent string of mysterious deaths among Kremlin allies.

In the news for fatally falling down stairs.
Other than being Rector of the Moscow Aviation Institute, I can't seem to find anything on who he was or what was his significance.
I see his name is spelled differently in various places, not unusual for cyrillic names.
Anyone know any more?
