Sorry to see him go. That was a really entertaining show. It and Secret Agent (Danger Man) were must-sees during my childhood.

Fun clips with Diana Rigg, but I'm an Honor Blackman man myself.

I have been a "Diana Rigg man" all my life myself... But then the Blackman-era episodes were never aired in France, and only last year did I finally discover on DVD the Cathy Gale episodes. I absolutely love them, Blackman was brilliant, veeery attractive and the pair worked extremely well. Plus it was LIVE TV drama, imagine that!

So now I can say it's almost a draw between Blackman and Rigg. The latter still wins because of the looks, the pace of the episodes, their visual quality, the attire... but Blackman definitely is too underrated and her character and episodes make for great watching.

May he rest in peace, oh Lord
And may perpetual light shine upon him.

I was too young to see her in the Avengers when it was first shown, so it is as Pussy Galore in
Goldfinger that I first saw her at my local cinema on a Saturday afternoon.
It remains for me the classic Bond film, not least because she and Sean Connery are similarly stylish and brilliant
Her family told the BBC that she died peacefully of natural causes. Another great has left us

Yes indeed, RIP. She had a good innings though.

Just asking in passing... is "pussy galore" name some kind of inside joke ? it always sounded weird or vaguely crass / sexist... Austin Power style...

RIP

:(

EDIT:

RIP indeed. I was in my late teens when she was in the Avengers and I was besotted with Emma Peel. She could out-smart and out-fight the men while cracking ironic one-liners, and of course she looked gorgeous, especially in those jump-suits....
