Over at Dirgantara Indonesia, the company revealed it was working on Indonesia’s first indigenously developed eVTOL, Vela Alpha, a one-pilot and six-passenger lift + cruise design. The aircraft is aimed to be adaptable to either pure electric or hybrid-electric propulsion – with the latter providing extra range (400km), compared to the pure electric 100km.The company also had on its stand a model of an amphibian version of its N219 utility aircraft currently in development. With Indonesia’s island geography and the fact that seaplane bases only cost 20% of the price of an airport, the company believes seaplanes offer an opportunity to improve regional connectivity and tourism.

I would suggest yo move this to the VTOL On Demand Mobility thread...
https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/vtol-on-demand-mobility.28597/
I didn't find a suitable topic before I created this one, and the "On Demand Mobility" header didn't register with me as especially meaningful, more like a commercial argument or advertising gimmick than a proper aircraft category (I was actually hoping to find something like "Current Electric VTOL projects", but couldn't find any...) Still, if the mods see it fit to move it there, no problem.
