im looking to compile a list and possibly discuss proposed american air defense related solutions, which im going to use for a powerpoint.

so far i have made list of both canceled and finished air defense "things"

Two comments.

One is about formatting: I'd suggest adding designation to names and names to designations wherever possible. E.g. RIM66 Standard (bearing in mind there are several designations for Standard missiles), FIM92 Stinger. For the Standards I'd also be sure to have the designations for the various types, e.g. RIM-161 SM-3 etc. It'll make it easier for everyone to follow along.

Second, in terms of missing programs or "things", Typhoon is the one that jumps out to me as missing.

If it's got a name as well as a designation, use both. Standard Missiles need to be split out to RIM-66 SM1 and SM2MR, RIM-67 and RIM-156 SM2ER, RIM-161 SM3, RIM-174 SM6.

Where is SM 4 and 5?

Cancelled. SM-4 was a land attack missile, SM-5 was an over the horizon missile guided by E-2 Hawkeyes that was cancelled in favor of the cheaper SM-6.
