The first catamaran solves the problem of center-of-lift shifting aft as wing sweep angle increases.
Then I have to ask about interference drag as the two fuselages get closer?????????
#4 the hollow triangle/delta wing makes sense from an aerodynamic perspective since the center of a delta provides little lift. The center of delta wings' most valuable role is to provide volume for structure and fuel tanks.
OTOH Barnaby Wainfain tells us that his Facetmobile is so efficient because the long center fuselage provides huge Reynolds numbers compared with most light planes. Huge Reynolds numbers increase lift, reduce drag and allow it to ignore local boundary layer trips created by the sharp facets.
