Airports for Supersonic Airliners

JFC Very enjoyable article. I have some of the images from other sources but the London airport abandoned in 1974 after the Oil shock is new to me. I think this futuristic airport was born of the same era as the proposed zigurrats and tower blocks for Whitehall and Covent Garden. But then I still miss the old brick control tower and Queens Building at Heathrow.
