Another airplane missing in this area. What is going on around Malaysia/Indonesia??? :(
 
They do seem to be getting it in the neck at the moment, and then some. :(

Not again! Sad to see that it is a Airbus A320-200, I went to Corfu back in 2002 in one and there was no problems during the outbound and return flights.
 
Some rather ignorant people were attacking Asian airlines because of the recent tragedies. I found this prejudice to be very offensive.

They haven't recovered the engines, black boxes, or any significant portion of the aircraft, but a bunch of weather men have already solved the cause of the crash? Incredible!


No, literally incredible, as in it should not be credited. It is irresponsible journalism for the Telegraph to run with this as their headline, even though the rest of the article says this is unlikely to be the cause.
 
Sooo.... What about the engines and weather would cause its steep climb that was tracked on radar?

The Indonesian admiral in charge of operations to recover AirAsia flight QZ8501 has told the BBC the fuselage may be too fragile to be lifted.

Rear Admiral Widodo's comments came after a renewed attempt to raise the wreckage from seabed failed when it kept breaking into pieces.

Ropes around the fuselage snapped during an initial failed effort to raise it on Saturday.

The plane crashed into the Java Sea last month killing all 162 on board.

It was flying from Surabaya in Indonesia to Singapore.

Four bodies were recovered on Saturday, taking the total recovered to 69, with more thought to be inside.
