Hi,

the American, Aerofan Aircraft Manufacturing Co designed a twin engined business
aircraft project in 1985 called SingleTwin or Model 700R,later developed as Model
800J.

can anyone contribute further on this aircraft?

Sort looks like a high-winged version of (abortive) Learfan.
That 32 foot wing-span means that it will fit into the same hangars as light, single-engined Cessnas, but cruise speed and cruise altitudes mean that it directly competes with older, straight-wing Cessna Citations.
We wonder why they offered an operational ceiling above 30,000 feet without a pressurized cabin???????

I can; here’s a photo of the Aerofan SingleTwin in its current state. It still exists, in a hangar at Oxnard Airport in California, registered N300LR. I am not sure what the owner plans to do with it.
