The Mini-IMP was a single-seat version of the earlier IMP four-seater ("Independently Made Plane") with a tail-mounted prop, ashoulder wing, a tricycle landing gear and a 100hp Continental pusher engine. It was marketed as plans for home-builders and over 250 examples were built.
In 1981 Molt Taylor produced the Micro-IMP, which was basically similar to the Mini-IMP, but constructed mainly of fiberglass-reinforced paper and powered by a 25hp Citroën 2CV pusher engine.
The two-seat Bullet of 1982 was a mid-wing counterpart of the Micro-IMP with a 2100cc Revmaster pusher engine.
The last in the IMP family was the Ultra-IMP (also of 1982), a single-seat version of the Bullet with a 2-cylinder Cuyuna engine. This type became the Holcomb Perigee in 1987.
