Hi,

I spoke before about the Aero projects,such as A.107 was lightweight single
seat fighter powered by one Walter Saggita,A.206 was four seat twin-engine
medium bomber,A.302 two/three seat attack light bomber powered by Avia
HS-12Y engine and A.404 three seat twin engined recce light bomber developed
from A.304.
Also the A.31 was single seat biplane fighter,who know more ?.

It's only to add that the airplane was also known under designation Aero A-7.

Hi all!
Some more unbuilt projects from Aero:

A-16 (1926) - night bomber project.

A-22 (1924) - heavy bomber project with four HS 8Fb engines (300 hp each).

A-27 (1925) - 12-seat passenger aircraft with two Lorraine-Dietrich 12Cc engines, 450 hp each. Next year the number was reassigned to a modified version of A-24 bomber prototype, powered by Walter Jupiter engines; but this one wasn't built as well.

A-33 (1928) - 14-seat trimotor passenger aircraft. The central engine was Walter Jupiter (license Bristol, 480 hp), the two others Walter Pollux (380 hp each).

A-34b (1933) - a version of A-34 Kos (Blackbird) sport and training biplane, featured with enclosed cockpit.

A-36 (1926) - bomber project with three 480-hp Jupiter engines.

A-40 (1926) - a project of racing biplane for 1926 President Cup. With Škoda L engine (W12 type) boosted up from 450 to 620 hp, its maximum speed was estimated 410 km/h.

A-42c (1933) - twin-engine version of A-42 bomber prototype, with 500-hp Walter Merkur (license Bristol Mercury) engines.

A-44 (1931) - heavy bomber project; two Praga Asso (Isotta-Fraschini license), 800/1000 hp each.

A-48 (1932) - 8-seat passenger aircraft, three Walter Pollux engines (380 hp each).

A-49 (1932) - 2-seat ultralight aircraft project with 2-cylinder 34-hp Orion LL-30 opposite engine; unsuccessful rival of Letov Š-39.

A-55 (1933?) - ultralight aircraft project with 50/60-hp Walter Polaris engine.

A-60 (1933) - high-speed 6-seat transport aircraft with three Walter Castor engines (most probably Castor II, 260 hp each); estimated speed 280 km/h.

A-102 (1932) - initial project version of well-known prototype fighter. Unlike the final gull-wing monoplane version flown in 1934, the initial study was a biplane. Fitted with Gnome-Rhone Mistral Major 14Krsd engine, it would reach 397 km/h speed.

A-102D (1933) - another studied A-102 version, this time a low-wing monoplane. Estimated maximum speed was 421 km/h.

A-202 (1934) - twin-engine passenger aircraft project, rival to Avia Av-57 prototype.

A-210 (about 1936-37) - passenger aircraft project (14 to 20 seats); four Walter Sagitta engines, 550/600 hp each.

A-212 (1937) - utility aircraft project, kind of a precursor to popular postwar Ae-45. Two Walter Minor engines (version isn't specified), 265 km/h speed.

A-302 (1936) - attack aircraft project; HS 12Ycrs engine (license produced by Avia), 450 km/h maximum speed.

A-404-III (1938) - light bomber project, A-304 development with new fuselage and Walter Sagitta I-SR engines.

The National Technical Museum contains, among others, an archive that contains an absolute treasure (drawings, or a brief mention of the project). Mr. Bittner has been creating the archive for 10 years since 1955, and there are dozens of items about Aero alone. Here is a list of the types of Aero aircraft it should contain. Other Czechoslovak aircraft manufacturers are also represented in Bittner's archive ...
