I do have to wonder if the active seeker was proposed as a retrofit to existing Skyflash missile, or if the Active Skyflash was proposed solely as a new build program?

I think it used the Skyflash 90 airframe.

Here's some Active Skyflash promotional material I stumbled upon in the National Archives. I find it a little surprising that they are proposing it be based upon the TEMP standard Skyflash. I thought it would have been based upon the SuperTEMP standard.
