yep. which plays into the hand of those that fear/hope the project itself won't ever come to fruition.if it does get into active service, it would have to carry sufficently more payload and have sufficently more loiter time/range over f-35 to make it worthwhile. Which, being subsonic and tasked with just one mission type while being a decade or two more modern - might not be so unrealistic.
