A V/STOL Voodoo !

No, it is not a late April's Fool... it was one of the configurations studied for an experimental V/STOL technology demonstrator by MDC for NASA/Ames and the Navy to validate the mid-70s concept of a multimission V7STOL carrier based aircraft. Other ideas considered were a completely new airframe and various modified planes: Sabreliner, A-6, A-4, etc. Relevant part of the complete report here:
