I have a question to the experts. What kind of avionics suite was carried on-board the Aéronavale F4U-7 Corsairs, particularly during the 1956 Suez conflict?

The F4U-7's manual from 1953 claims that the a/c was equipped with:
  • Either the AN/ARC-1 VHF AM (10 channel max) or the AN/ARC-27 (20 channel max) UHF AM COM radio.
  • AN/ARR-2A VHF navigation receiver (aircraft carrier landing system).
  • AN/ARC-5 200-400 kHz (LF) navigation receiver for the A-N beacon ranging system.
  • AN/APN-1 radar altimeter.
  • AN/APX-6 IFF.
I am particularly interested whether the Aéronavale Corsairs used the VHF or UHF COM radio and if they used both above listed navigation receivers, or only one of them?

A small update from the manual where the antennas of these things were located. The IFF is not mentioned.
