Essentially any within range. Such drone is basically an aerial mine, that patrol the assigned sector. The opponents would be coming toward it, trying to penetrate the protected airspace, not the drone chasing them.

According the the data, the Majid (AD-08) SAM is capable of 15 km range. With air launch, I suppose the range would be about 20-25 km.
