Funny how the author refers the Horten wings as "Horten Hos". Also, NASA's Skylancer is illustrated for entry on the Dyna-Soar. They should have consulted us on that one.

That Skylancer's tale amazed me: Neil Armstrong using it to train for DynaSoar aborts, no less...


Certainly the basis for a what-if had DynaSoar gone ahead. IIRC, he pre-qualified as an astronaut on the astonishing X-15...

That's what I call the Horten's designs.

I would have liked it if they didn't grab the wrong image for the Dyna-Soar. A google search was all that was needed to get the appropriate image.
