Fantastic Plastic Models has just released its FDL-6 Manned Sub-Orbital Maneuvering Vehicle (SOMV) kit in 1:72:

This 23-piece kit was producecd by BLAP! Models exclusively for Fantastic Plastic. It includes a detailed cockpit, landing gear, and decals for either a NASA experimental or operational U.S. Air Force version. (The decals are by JBOT.) The assembled model is 4.5 inches long.

The kit sells for $70 plus shipping.

It's in line with pricing for resin kits. Unlike injection molded kits stamped out by the bagrillions, resin kits are each made by hand in lots of no more than a few dozen.
