What lessons have been learned from failed prototypes?
I am thinking in terms of how the AMES AD-1 revealed problems with roll/yaw coupling at steeper angles of wing sweep.
I was dumbstruck to notice on Amazon a forthcoming book in Osprey Publishing's X-Planes series about the McDonnell XP-67 experimental bomber-destroyer, so I'm thinking the following potential books should be published in the X-Planes series by Osprey Publishing:
