So! I just received my first commission in about 2 months! I am mashing together a J-20 and a Rafale and I gotta be honest, other than the J-20's influence on my F-56, I hate it, and I also hate the Rafale, so mixing the two and making it 5th Gen is a hurdle.

It just came out that Japan wont be adopting either the M-346 or T-7A for it's next generation trainer, but will be jointly developing a new trainer with the US. There isn't much info on the program right now such as what companies are...
Hello everyone! This is my first post here. For months I have been fascinated by the fictional "F-117X Remora" from the film Executive Decision. In the movie's lore, the Remora was originally created by ARPA (Now DARPA) for the space program, to conduct supersonic low-orbit link ups with the...
Hello all
I am looking for a specific aviation fiction book that I read years ago but cannot for the life of me remember the name or author. The plot goes something like this.
The US and China are in a fight for domination in the South China Sea. The US has a female president (IIRC). China...
Seen this on MSN News, and it seems like I couldn't find a proper general discussion thread to talk about air-to-air missiles, so until there is one, here it goes:

Inspired by the Projects that should have been killed at birth thread's recent conversation about the B-1s futility/utility I thought I'd make a "What If" thread if the AMSA/B-1 program never saw flight.
So for whatever reason the AMSA program is not revived by the Nixon Administration...
I heard rumors about and little bits of info on successors to the LRI-X interceptors that were hypersonic and had missiles with a range of 500 miles is there any info on them like blueprints and performance information?
