PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has sold five N219 Nurtanio twin-engine aircraft to the Indonesian Setdco Group, which will be used by the Democratic Republic of Congo's government. The sale was announced before the Bali International Airshow 2024. While many Letters of Intent have been signed...
Recently I've gone down the rabbit hole of the few Scottish built Military aircraft, and recently the Scottish Aviation Pioneer has caught my eye, despite initially being designed as a STOL transport aircraft they appear to have seen a fair amount of Field modifications in Malaya and Aden that...

I am currently writing a book on the Short Skyvan. I wonder if anyone has information (description, drawings etc) on Shorts project P.D.50 described as a "Skyvan VTOL test-bed", and P.D.62 listed in the Putnam as "Skyvan with B.L.C" but elsewhere as "Skyvan Feeder Liner". Both seem quite...

I am researching STOL aircraft equipped with thrust reversers, and I'm trying to remember which had such system installed. I know the F-15 S/MTD was supposed to use it, and i think there was at least one airliner that was certified to use them on approach. Can you think of any?
Here's a sketch of an unknown aircraft recently found on eBay. Any ideas on what I bought?
My guess is that it's a proposed VTOL or extreme STOL aircraft intended for COIN applications.
The signature is dated 1974 (I think) which would be right for the SEA-type camouflage. If the A3... number...
Not being much of a German aircraft specialist, I find myself stuck trying to identify this strange little pusher bird... It may well be a Focke-Wulf project, but that's my only clue.
I'm sure someone will be able to identify it soon and put me to shame! Thanks in advance for your help.

The F4 Phantom might have failed to materialise as the wonderful plane which the RAF and RN used to fill various gaps from the 60s onwards. In a Phantomless world would P1154 have been developed as planned in 1963 for both RAF and RN or would the Lightning have been developed in its swing wing...
