I tried searching, but wasn't able to find out if this was discussed before. And if this topic is in the wrong forum, could it be moved to the correct one, please?

Discussion about German corvettes seems to have been popular lately so I'm sharing this Swedish project which I found in Jane's 1972-73.
The design was to be a flotilla leader for MTBs or FACs as well as escorts for the remaining destroyer fleet that was then still active. Two were to be built...

HSwMS Östergötland isn't mentioned in the article, but presumably it will receive the same upgrade as HSwMS Södermanland in due course.

So, a few years back SAAB posted a bunch of pictures of a series of small craft they'd designed, possibly just to show off their Sea Giraffe, CEROS, and EOS family (part of the 9LV combat system).
There were three ships in total:

Here you have drawings of 'Eskaderledare' (or Flotilla Leader) project made in Sweden in 1947 that may be founde elsewhere on the Internet (I believe they are genuine). The drawings seemquite self-explanatory.
The ship's main battery was four twin 'LT' ('Lufttorped' or Air Torpedo) launchers...
This rather obscure Sweden weapon system, actually, quite interesting:
It is the first Western shipborne anti-ship missile ever commissioned, and the only one Western SSM close to Soviet cotemporary analogues (like P-15 "Termit"). Interesting to note, that it seems to be essentially an...

At http://imgur.com/a/Qjex8 you may find original drawings of a Swedish aircraft carrier design of 1946 - called in the Swedish "hangarkryssare" (I feel 'cruiser with a hangar'). The aircraft are the Sea Vampires.

In the Eighties there was an infamous spate of submarine incidents in Swedish waters, apparently involving mini submarines penetrating close to shore (and even inside harbour areas). From the reports at least some of these would appear to have been fitted with Caterpillar/Tank style Tracks...

This image of this ship was borrowed from a site dealing in 1/1250 ships. I am interested in a three view of this ship.
It is no doubt some kind of Pocket or Panzer ship project. Perhaps by Zenker.
