I'm nearing 300 items (98% photos) cataloged in the Aric Aldrich Collection and this is (I believe) only my second request for assistance on this collection here so far. I think I'm doing pretty good on this collection. That most of the photos have some information written on the back helps...

Another find in the Aric Aldrich Collection. Look at the tip of the 880's vertical tail and you will see one of the Constitutions in flat paint with no markings. The notation of the back of this print states that this Douglas D. Olson photograph was taken at Mc Carran Field on April 13, 1959.

Because why let the facts get in the way of a good story?

The Museum has this art on a handout lithograph with real F-4 information on the back. I can scan it and post a clean copy of this image without the Photobucket banner. Also I'd like to suggest we expand this thread to include other silly art like this with official histories, NOT user artwork...

As I remember, the model had the jet engines, but every time we saw the ecterior in flight, they used the sound of piston engines. On opening day, my friends and I were, it seemed, the only ones in the theater who got it - at least, we were the only ones who laughed at the gag.
