I can offer a previously unheard of
OS-106 January 1946 VB carrier based two-engine heavy bomber. It is the spec that gave birth to the NAA Savage. Other competitors were Douglas, Convair and who knows ?

Hi,

OS-141 was for North American T2J as in Spangenberg files,
the file is No.5633,but they wrote that; Jet T-28 Basic Trainer.
 
OS-133 was for a short-range air-to-surface guided missile weapon "for use against targets of opportunity" and was issued circa 1953.

Contenders included the McDonnell Model 97 and the Martin Bullpup, which won and was designated ASM-N-7.

Thanks nugo for the update. However, the Bell D-188 was XF3L-1, NOT XF3B-1.

Do you confirm that Douglas had THREE Missileer designs, D-765, D-766 and D-767, and McDonnell had TWO designs, 153A and 154A?

Yes, Yes... XF3B-1---is my little mistake.

"D-765 Proposals to "Missileer" naval patrol fighter, c1959.
D-766 Subsonic proposal to "Missileer" naval patrol fighter requirement, 1959. Ordered as XF6D
Missileer in 1960 but cancelled 12.60 before prototypes had been started.
D-767 Further work to "Missileer" requirement, 1959."

Time sequence would be too much of a stretch! The TS-169/A dates back to the 1950s, and there is no evidence of the system being continued after that. Why would they revive it 20 years later for a totally different project?!

Yes. I guess the Mohawk was also to be evaluated by the Marines at some point.
 
Mohawk was initially a joint Army/Marine Corps project. 4 prototype USMC YOF-1's were ordered but later cancelled.

OS-125 was the Outline Specification for a "High Speed Minelayer", which resulted in the procurement of the Martin XP6M-1 Seamaster.

I guess that bit of info can be found in Seamaster-related sources, perhaps the Ginter book?

I regret to report that the designation Fairchild Model 376 includes a typo; Fairchild actually proposed its model 236.

As noted above, the Fairchild Model Number in the Training the Right Stuff was incorrect. It should have been 236. Thanks for calling this to my attention.

OS-141 apparently had THREE North American proposals: ESO 4028, NA-241 and ESO 7618 (the latter being a jet-powered T-28).

IIRC, Grumman also offered its G-76 to the specification
 
Out of curiosity, was either the AV-8A/C Harrier or the AV-8B Harrier II assigned or procured under a TS or OS designation?
