Doh! So a Krechet image has existed in the open press for eight years already. Well, now we'll have to wait for a Tu-160K three-view drawing I'd guess.
The specs seem to match what was already published.
 
This is that kind of official publications usually printed in limited numbers to certain jubilees and being spreaded inside the factory staff.

Officially all the works were frozen at Raduga in '92, but no one can say that Kh-90/GELA wasn't a basis for more advanced projects. I've seen GELA recently in Raduga museum being shown in TV footage, but who can say when it was made. Flieger Revue was proving a ground in 2004 in an article by Gerhard Kowalski

Military hypersonic appliances in Russia are highly touchy question, with security level raised much higher since the beginning of the century, so not sure if anyone will be ready to discuss in details. From my talks to TsIAM guys in 2003 they were buying paper for printer on their own pocket moneys...and NEVA MHD project not seems to wash in money flow.

I wonder if there's anything regarding the Koltso, Kopye-R, RT-23M Yarmak and R-36M3 Ikar ICBMs inside? (Yes, I know you may not be able to check it yourself flateric.)

Could you perhaps clear up what you mean with NEVA MHD project not seems to wash in money flow??

Have damn flu. Hard with brains right now. Neva=AYAKS. No money, or there's a cover up. Man behind the project, Prof. Freistadt, has died several years ago. Last reasonable article I've seen is from 2001 - http://www.expert.ru/printissues/northwest/2001/20/20no-texno/ There was also a docu recently from the Strike Force series on hypersonics, with 99% of blah-blah-blah on plazma stealth hypersonic flying saucers.

Actually it was that very article which had introduced me to the Koala.

Maybe the hypersonic Brahmos-2 will see influences from it.

That's what I expected. The statement was just so cryptic I had to ask. :)
 
Here's an interesting view from a recent issue of Military Parade of a 1984 design by Yuzhnoe KB in Dnepropetrovsk of the solid fuel Krechet air-launched ballistic missile along with its Tupolev Tu-160K carrier.
