Sikorsky Shrouded Rotor SCAT

This thread on some "1991 Sikorsky high-speed rotorcraft studies" has a one which caught my eye, a VTOL battlefield fighter with the cryptic name of "Shrouded Rotor SCAT Configuration" (4th image down in the first post).

It is strikingly similar in concept to the Focke-Wulf VTOL illustrated on Luft46.com:

Does anyone have any more info on the Sikorsky design? I'd love to learn more.
