It looks somewhat similar to the design on the first image at http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,1041.msg4377.html#msg4377. Perhaps the latter is a further development: mainly the tail section and wings are different. Also, does the "1984" one have rocket engines on tail?

I'm actually starting to think that the designs from the "Aeronautical technology 2000" paper posted to the other thread might be more than just artist's concepts. So, whos gonna be the first one to find Boeing model numbers for them? ;)
