Hi everybody

I am searching for nuclear powered fighters / interceptors projects !
Are there any ? Informations, Pictures etc.

Look at the Scott site. There should be at least one specimen of the category (Convair's).
 
so far i know,
were no realistic Nuclear powered fighters / interceptors proposal

because of size of heavy nuclear engine and Radiation shielding
most Design are Bomber, Big Cruise Missile, Flying ICBM/AWAC Fortstress, Cargo, Sea patrole.
to some proposal has label like "Convair Nuclear Turbojet Logistics & Assault designs"
but assault means, landing fast US troops on enemy beaches
and the nuclear Sea patrole plane role is bomb USSR subsmarines and ship in time of war

I know I have two Convair preliminary designs for nuclear interceptors... but I'm not sure I ever released 'em. Looking at the catalog page (http://www.up-ship.com/drawndoc/drawndocair.htm ), I don't see them listed.

i take my statement back !
There are nuclear interceptors

will we have the chance to see them in a future eAPR ?
 
Scott, it seems you've a couple of ready customers more ... ;)
 
I dug through my available items, including the now-withdrawn "misc fighters" drawing set (someone lawyered-up on me), and couldn't find where I'd released the nuke interceptors. I could have sworn that I had released them, but apparently I didn't. I'll correct that ovesight soon.
