This artist's impression was published in "X Planes - Secret Planes and Secret Missions" by Oliver and Ryan (ISBN 0004724615). It seems to be a Myasishchev transport (maybe one of the many different M-12 layouts?). But why is it equipped with VG AND a foldable rotor? Can anybody confirm the designation M-12? I'm looking for a three-view drawing and further artist's impressions. When was it designed?

This is another what-if fantasy from AVPRO guys that illustrated most of this book with their concepts. No one of Myasishchev M-12 iterations to my knowledge was ever close to this weird stuff. Why it has WG wing - to fly M=2 with this goddam blunt nose, yeah?

Hi to all!
Today special message for Boxkite - he asked me a drawings of M-12 project and for Flateric who also asked me about the proofs))))
The original drawings and proofs are below.
Enjoy!

Konstantin, thanks for confirmation of the extraordinary stowed rotor layout of the M-12 (and thanks to flateric for your persistently asking at Konstantin). :)
