Found this, when I browsed through my issues of the Flieger Kalender, searching for
something completely different.
A design by James Schwade for a twin engined aircraft with two rotary engines,on in
the conventional nose position and the other in a nacelle in front of the single propelle
both working on this single prop. The patent for this configuration was filed on February
the 6th 1916.

It sort of looks familiar, the prop position within the fairing and the wings and pontoons.
Sort of looks like the Bv 192.01, although single engined.
I wonder if the Bv took inspiration from the Schwade?

Yes, the Bv P.192 was mentioned, too, along with a Spad A.2 and an AGO design,
which had fuselage sections in front of the prop, too. The novelty of the Schwade
design was, that it had one engine in front and the other behind the single prop.
Here's the patent drawing and an artist impression from the mentioned book.

P.S.: Yes, that's the kind of stuff I would suppose for "Luft '19" ;)

BTW, those two photos of the 1916 pusher actually seem to be just the same,
only mirrored. A pity, makes a reconstruction not easier ! :(
 
So I think these two photos are the only from this type.
 
Here's another photo of the 1916 Schwade pusher. This photo appears in Wagner's 'German Combat Planes' & also'The Complete Book of Fighters'.

Thanks for this photo and additional data, so there's at least a base for a reconstruction
of a 3-view !
I found in the meantime another photo of the type from 1914 in LUFTFAHRT dokumente
LD20. It's designated as recce aircraft Schwabe C.1 there:

A guy Built a flying model of the second fighter and it is featured on RC groups.

It looks the part, and a plan is visible in some photos, therefore some plan must already exist.
I contacted the modeler, with no response
I vaguely remember a libramodel? Vacuform In the late "80s: is it possible?

He mentions Swanborough/Green "The Complete Book of Fighters" as his source, don't have
it at hand before tomorrow evening, but IIRC there only are those two photos in it. So, maybe
he just did, what we are regularly doing here: Reconstructing the type from photos ?
 
Swanborough/Green show two pictures of the Kampfeinsitzer Nr 2; the second image from reply #6 and the image from reply #11. No plan view. An 80 hp Schwade Stahlherz 7-cylinder rotary is mentioned as its engine.

'German aircraft of the first world war' by Peter Gray and Owen Thetford, Putnam, 1962, has one entry for the Nr 1 and Nr 2. Gray/Thetford estimate 'span roughly between 6 and 7 m'. An 80 hp Oberursel is mentioned for the 1914 machine (Nr 1), a 110 hp Oberursel for the 1915 machine (Nr 2).
 
Concerning the engines of the different Schwade types, the answer is simple: from the 1910 Schwalbe till the 1916 Kampfeinsitzer all had Stahlherz, an engine built by Schwade.
The only one about which I have no information is the enigmatic Dr I, but I suppose it had also a Stahlherz.
Hereby another photograph of the 1914 Kampfeinsitzer (scan from Lange, Typenhandbuch ....).
And sorry, no 3-view

also Schwade designed a Dr aircraft,it was a single seat triplane fighter,no
more details are known.
 
Indeed. Lange in his Typenhandbuch has a Dr I with the information that one has been built. No more details unfortunately.
