Amphibian Autogiro

If I understand the article correctly, it's about a lecture by Mr. la Cierva,
about the future of the autogyro and its ability of direct take-off. This
amphibian is more or less an artist impression from Flight.

Hi,

by the way,that concept from Flightglobal was similar to
the Cierva C.13 and C.14 flying boat Autogiros.

The same concept;

Some ideas never go away. This company seems to be having some luck with autogiros for police and military use, including on floats.

Concept created by a Swedish engineer "Jette David Klingberg" in 1932, but it remains just a three-in-one curiosity.
