Max Valier's Trans Channel Rocket circa 1929...

I am really struck by the shape of the drift very similar to that drawn by René Couzinet around the same period (1928) for his three engined "Arc-en-ciel" (Rainbow) despite a proven lack of efficiency on its aircraft and which he never wanted to change the shape which led to adding "pig ears" on the horizontal planes in order to obtain sufficient yaw stiffness. One can think that here in the drawing of Max Vallier the length of the lever arm made it possible to obtain a sufficient volume of drift ...I think Lippisch and DFS are incorrect, or they copied used the Max Valier design, or another person plagiarized Max Valier and gave credit to Lippisch or DFS.
Here is the Max Valier drawing of the same shape (powered by a small rocket) from 1928: the Valier RF-1 (rocket plane 1). Left Photo: Concept drawing for the RF-1 (1928). Right Photo: RAK-FL-1 Rocket powered model plane (1929).
