After seeing [edited - removed name -Admin] Yak-42T/Yak-44 images, I had to try a sideview.

After getting rolling, I started wondering about that third engine position. It looks like it'd be awkward to maintain or change. So I added a thoroughly hypothetical shortened, twin-engined Yak-44 in Volga-Dnepr markings.

Those look great! The twin engined version definitely looks good., if not as interesting as the three engined version. Nice work.

I thought that a twin-engined version might be more practical. But, I agree, it wouldn't stand out on the tarmac like that three-holer.
