Not sure which section of the forum fits best, but as my thing is planes...
Forum readers may have some interest in the papers from a recent event I attended:

There is some mention of past, current and future platforms (F-35 gets multiple mentions).
My own work (Vol 2, p 283) will soon result in the online posting of our publicly sourced data - thousands of pages of scanned files from Kew and other archives all about past combat aircraft and projects. I'll keep you posted on when 'soon' happens (all about the server capacity - we filled it already so a redesign is in order) - it will likely be this autumn.
