Can anyone identify this type or project ?

At the Key-Forum it is called a Ukrainian project called LBL ... ???

Could be related to this:

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko got acquainted with the project of a new Ukrainian twin-engine multirole fighter during his visit to Zaporozhye Machine-Building Design Bureau Progress State Enterprise named after Academician A.G. Ivchenko, military-informant.com reports.

Ukrainian aircraft designers presented sketches of the project dedicated to the creation of Ukrainian multirole fighter, which was named 'LBL' (Lehkyi Boyovyi Litak, which is translated as Light Combat Aircraft). A new aircraft will externally resemble a Soviet fighter MiG-29. However, Ukrainian engine unit in the form of two engines developed on the basis of AI-322F will be combined with avionics of Western and Ukrainian manufacture.

Currently, the development of the new fighter is at its conceptual design stage. According to its characteristics and purpose, the aircraft will resemble Russian fighter MiG-35, Swedish JAS 39 Gripen, and Chinese FC-1 Xiaolong.

Besides, Petro Poroshenko claimed, 'We will manage to create our own aircraft engine for the fighter in the nearest time.'

He also admitted that only five countries in the world have enough potential to independently create such aircraft engines today.

The exact characteristics of the new fighter, as well as the project completion date remain unknown.

Hmm ... in mind off the current state of disrepair; I think this will remain a paper-plane only !?

Really ?? Then sorry, but for me it's the first time I hear about this chocolate-fighter. ;)

In 2016 GP Antonov proposed another iteration (of the first variant I suppose) with those specs:

Wingspan: 10.4 m
Aircraft length: 13.2 m
Aircraft height: 4.72 m
Normal take-off Weight: 5700 kg
Maximum take-off weight: 9000 kg
Weight of armament on hardpoints: 3000 kg
Maximum operating load: + 8 g / -3 g
Engines: 2×AI-222-25
Engine thrust: 2×2500 kg×f
Thrust-to-weight ratio: 0.877 / 0.555
Maximum speed: 1050 km/h
Practical ceiling: 13000 m
Practical flight range (without external tanks): 2000 km
Max angle of attack: more than 40°

Vaguely reminds me of some private Russian project of a few years back. S-10? Some Russian start up.

Nice find! Yeah, SR-10 and this trainer do have a connection. SR-10 have roots in Sukhoi: the goal was to make a trainer for Su-47. And Su-47 had a freeflight drop model built and tested by KhAI.

Am I the only one who spots the very short internal weapons bay? I think the stubby chin intake proposal with afterburners is the earliest to have been publicized.

The Ukrainians did a lot of export business with China and I think the afterburner of the AI-222 might have been their own post-Soviet development. All the same, I’m not sure I see the point of proposals that essential replicate the M346/YAK-130 or the Chinese L-15? Moreover, if the whole point is to use the AI-222 or a derivative, is the engine plant or tooling still intact?
