I'm having the same problem as others - any avicopress.ru pages won't load:

Seems to be working now, if a bit slow. I've had similar problems with the site before - just this time I hadn't had a chance to try the site during the week and was somewhat anxious to get a better look at the M-19 variants, among others, in the weekend. :)

From hundreds letters from all over the world the situations is following:
50% users can't open site and another 50% do it without problems.
I can not catch what does in mean. Tomorrow morning will push technical support service.

Lol! All illustrations in "http://www.spaceavia.com" have taken from Avico Press books "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Mysishchev's aircraft". It is very easy to check up and all who has those books know about it.))

I'm sorry to say this, but again I can't access the www.avicopress.ru site. I couldn't on the weekend, nor yesterday or today.

Seems like they are blocking all international traffic to me. Must be an odd DOS attack, normally they come *from* Russia, not at it ;)

It comes and goes. Some days I can reach the site, some days I can't. Today it's working fine, should probably be so for the next 2-3 days.
 
Well, things go more clear. ISP hosting proxy servers were under DOS attack, this problem solved, but now problems arised at Amsterdam backbone hub - many sities, not only Avico ones, not only hosted by this ISP, are not accessible at the moment from the Western hemisphere. I suppose problems will be solved nearest time.

I wondered how they accepted payments. I ordered a couple of the books a week or so ago & ucon said I'd be notified when they were ready. Glad they use PayPal.
