Dear friends!
I heared about a program of the Regia Aeronautica of the 1938 for a new frontline bomber, program named Bombardieri Normali (Normal Bombers).
At the program partecipated theese projects, but I don't know none of them... However, here the list:
Breda Ba 99
Macchi Mc 300 (http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=12175.0)
Caproni Ca 325
Fiat Br 30
Savoia Marchetti Sm 89
Caproni Ca 320
Unfotunatly I found very poor informations about theese projects: do you know more about that program and the aircraft proposed?

My dear Lucamax,

for Breda Ba.99,please see; http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,1339.msg21164.html#msg21164

and for caproni Ca.325,it was developed from Ca.135 with two 1450 hp Isotta
Fraschini Asso L.180 I.R.C.C.45 18-cylinder radial engines,built in mock-up form
only.

Savoia-Marchetti SM-89 was a low-wing bomber,actually built,and powered by two 1500 hp
Piaggio P.XII RC.35 radial piston engines.

Great find Mantus,

and we can put them here.

My dear Blackkite,

for your questions,the first; I think Savoia-Marchetti SM-89 was the winner,the second CRDA Z-1015B was a military
version of Z-1015 and the third;yes it was a twin engined bomber.

Hi,

it seemed to be there was a two versions of Santangelo BS.

Thank you my dear Blackkite;

but there was also two drawings to C.S. heavy fighter ?.

You mean this drawing? I imagine that this aircraft is for ground attack mission.(Tank attack?)
Partial auto translation of Russian site.
"Other institutional deficiencies were caused by a number of firms involved in designing Cannoniere(Gunner) Santangelo followed by problems of coordination of the various working activities. For example, the firm Borrani from Milan was to make chassis, FIM from Bologna-radiators, while Ansaldo and steel mills of SIAC (SIAC-Acciaierie) of Corigliano (Cornigliano) were concerned about the responsible task (heavy weapons and armored cab respectively).
Ansaldo pretty quickly made a wooden model of the fuselage with the installation of two 47-mm guns. By mid-January 1943 year model bylagotova to Guidoniû. Stalilitejnyj plant, for its part, produced from shell 6-mm special alloy (Mn-Si-Cr-Ni). 20 March, shell was sent to Furbara where overcame shooting tests with satisfactory results."

Hi,

I know that the early SM.89 was developed from SM.79.

By the way,

the Caproni Ca.320 was a three engined bomber and Ca.325 was a twin engined bomber
