the Heinkel He.500

He 500 was the inhouse designation of the Salamander. "He 162" was apparently allocated to fool Western intelligence services.
I suppose this V-tailed, swept-wing variant must have been an early concept.

Hi,

here is the Heinkel P.1065 with many variants to it.

It should be noted, that this design was still for the He 219 as a "Zerstörer", that means heavy fighter,
not as a nightfighter. The shift in its task came later and although used only in the night fighter role, this
genesis is, what legitimately gave the title "first purpose-built night fighter" to the Northrop P-61.

That's new for me my dear Jemiba,

Thank you for this info.

Hi,

also the Heinkel He-219 fitted with addition jet engine,Waffen-Arsenal 56.

Hi my dear hesham.
Bottom one's shape is strange for me. Tail heavy and engine tail might hit the ground when take off and landing.

That's right my dear Blackkite,

this was what I though when I saw the drawing first time !.

In fact , the study was for two positions , fore and aft , but not so much !
The He 219 V 30 was flown with a BMW 003 late in 1943 …

There's not only a large discrepancy in the position, but also with the size of the nacelle.
The drawing from Waffen-Arsenal seems to be based on descriptions only.

In the last picture (artist impression, I think) the nacelle looks larger. Was it
intended for a different engine type ?

Footage of Heinkel project, which apart from sporting, propaganda (He 113) & help for Kawasaki uses,
went nowhere fast..

Dear richard,

there is Heinkel unknown design (four jet long range bomber):

Does anyone make a model of this? It reminds me of the post war British bombers.

Hi Fockewulf261,

I think I saw a Model for it,but no problem, you can make anther Model.

Hi,

So far I remember , this was a toy ...

Oh Sorry, and thank you my dear Richard,

you know I don't know Germany.

Indeed and the caption not even mentions Heinkel !

"This rustic unknown 4-engined aircraft was seen in Bremen. Remarkable those lines of
rivets and the crescent tailplane. The partly bow- and partly baker-legged landing gear
unfortunately isn't recognisable on this dull photo, but the author could convince hisself,
that the propellers were vivaciously turning in the wind.
Probably for deceiving the wicked enemy, the aircraft got cockades, too, besides the German
markings. Presumably because of the many "details" and those "international" markings
this gem should cost 25,- DM. "

The whole article is about aircraft models found on flea markets and although there are models
of the Heinkel He 70 shown, it has nothing to do with Heinkel. As Stargazer already said,
at least some insight into such texts is highly recommended, just to prevent misinterpretations.

Old Info from Internet,

the Heinkel P.1081 was a jet fighter project,is that right ?.

No my dear Jemiba,

I know that fake aircraft, but the of the old Info is; it was developed from He 280.

From Waffen Arsenal,

here is a drawings to He.280.

Does anyone have photos of the he-100 with leading edge wing radiators in the style of the 177?

Erwin Hood posted a few on luftwaffe experten. But I lost the photos to a dead hdd and I can't seem to create a new account on LE.

OK my dear Jemiba,

and from Jet & Prop 5/2004,here is a hint to Heinkel P.997,may be it was a transport/bomber aircraft project, who know more about it ?.

Hi,

no doubts on the Heinkel period of 1945 is very secret, specially the "P" projects designation,
there is no completely knowledge about all of them, began with P.1081 up to almost P.1100,
I know only two of them;

P.1090 was based on P.1080 and developed from it.

Flieger Revue Extra #21 had a piece about early German aircraft.

Included was a drawing of the Heinkel HE 3 with an enclosed cabin. It remained as a project on the drawing boards.

On the same page was a photo the open cockpit ski version from the Swedish Navy.
