Caudron's rare aircraft

Sorry, can't find a Caudron C.17 fighter, nor the Descamps D.17.
Regarding Green/Swanborough ,the first mentioned Descamps design is the
Descamps 27, which was designed by E.A. Descamps, when he returned to
France after the russian revolution. As the chosen winner was the Nieuport 29,
further developmnet of this type was cancelled and I couldn't find any clue for
other Descamps aircraft.
But, as I told you before, the pre-war era is, although very interesting, really not
my playground. Perhaps you should post this question in the french aeroforum?

Hi all,
the Caudron C.59 was the basic model for some other Caudron aircraft.
1) C.157 built round a C.59 airframe
2) C.320, the C.157 was re-engined with a Renault 9A and redesignated C.320
3) C.490, one of the C.320 was re-engined yet again with a Renault 6Pfi from a "Simoun" an redesignated C.490
I search for drawings and pics of this three aircraft... B)

Like the German Fieseler Storch, the American Ryan Dragonfly, the Soviet OKA-38 and many other such aircraft conceived in the late 1930s, the Caudron C.880 tandem two-seater artillery liaison aircraft was developed in 1940 as part of a program for an observation aircraft (Obs 2) with STOL capability and low-speed/high-speed flight capability.
Requirements were as follows:
Only one C.880 prototype was built, powered by a 240 hp Renault 6Q-03 engine and fitted with a fixed gear. It flew some time in 1940 before being scrapped in June of that year.

- Obstacle clearance 8 m: 100 m after zero point
- Folding wings for road transport
- High visibility for the crew
