Hi,

in ER.110D Spec. for variable wing-sweep research aircraft, the contenders were Armstrong Whitworth AW.59,Blackburn
B-90,Boulton Paul P.121,Bristol-183 and Saunders P.149.
The Balckburn B-90 was single seat VG aircraft project powered by one Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire turbojet and it
had a thin wing configutation,I know BP P.121,SARO P.149 and Bristol-183,do you have more information and drawings
to AW.59 ? please.

Hi Hesham
I have only the info that is in Tony Buttlers Book...British Secret Projects- Jet Fighters since 1950.
But I'm sure you already have a copy...

For what its worth I've just completed a profile of the Type 553.

Cheers
Peter
